Thomas Conaty

Wilmington native Tom Conaty attended Oxford University in England and Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland where he made the Dean's list. He graduated from Catholic University Law School in 1992.

After graduation he served as a law clerk in The Superior Court of the State of Delaware for Judge Haile Alford.

Mr. Conaty represents people who have been injured because of another party's negligence. His specialties include medical negligence, product liability, construction accidents, falls, burn injuries, dog bites, and wrongful death.

He works aggressively for clients to pursue the compensation that injured people deserve.

James Curran

Jim received his B.A. in Math from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 (Dean's List 6 semesters graduating with honors) and his J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University in 1993. He spent the intervening years as an economist for Wharton Econometrics and McGraw Hill. He started his legal career doing corporate law at White and Williams and Connor & Weber. After that, and before joining Conaty, Curran, and Sisk, Jim was a sole practitioner. He now uses his extensive experience in the corporate world and in the world of finance to focus on the practice of transactional corporate law.

 
 

Mark D. Sisk, Esq. Partner

Mark Sisk

Mark graduated from Newark (DE) High School, Haverford College and Villanova Law School. Mark served as Deputy City Solicitor and Prosecutor for the City of Newark for 15 years. Mark now represents clients in every court in the State of Delaware. While he practices in all areas of criminal law in the State of Delaware, a particular focus of Mark's practice is students and the law. Cases involving college students often involve both criminal and academic issues, which makes Mark's experience in this area valuable. He has also been using his courtroom experience to represent clients in domestic matters (divorce, custody, protection from abuse orders, etc.) for many years.

Mark also assists in our real estate practice, particularly with land use issues. He has been involved in many major land use issues in the City of Newark and elsewhere, including renovation and restoration of the Deer Park tavern, and the Washington House Condominium on the site of the Stone Balloon nightclub.

Mark has been a musician all of his life, and now appears with Club Phred, www.clubphred.com, who have helped raise over $1.6 million for a large number of charities as of December, 2009.
